FAIR LAWN FRIENDS OF MUSIC

The Fair Lawn Friends of Music is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to recognize, promote, and enhance the performance of music at Fair Lawn High School.

Friends of Music members support the programs of the Instrumental Music Department of Fair Lawn High School. These programs include: the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Marching Band and Color Guard, and Jazz Band.

The organization sponsors many fundraising events and activities during the year which help provide money for scholarships, organized trips, departmental gifts and awards, and organizational expenses. We also support our children by attending their competitions and performances throughout the year.

The support received from our members is sincerely appreciated and is one of the major reasons why Fair Lawn High School has an award-winning music program and championship Marching Band.

And most of all, it’s a great way for you to support your children throughout their high school careers.

Friends of Music members are required to pay an annual $20 per family membership fee. Members have traditionally been parents or guardians of Fair Lawn High School music students, although membership is open to any individual interested in the objectives of the Friends of Music. Alumni members are invited to participate as non-voting members without a membership fee.
