The meeting was called to
order @ 7:40
Ms. Lucas-
Students will be performing @ the ART and Spanish Honor Society Induction. Will be playing @ the Fair Lawn Public
Library
Mr. Kafer-
Started Jazz last night. Thank you all
who helped @ the musical concession stand.
The money made will go back to Friends of music
April is the final push for
the year. Will get final schedule out.
Middle school performance
will be on 5/22 and 5/29 Parade 5/26
Spring concert days 5/15
& 5/28
Meet the Marching Band night
6/2
Dinner 6/3
Mailing will go out soon.
Will try to get a Football
game schedule
Band camp will be 8/19-8/28.
He has a change in e-mail

Working on setting up fund
raisers for next year, but doesn’t seem to be getting a lot of participation.
Nationals will be an added
expense, do we want to spend the night.
Working on an instructor for
color guard- is looking for someone who is willing to get a winter program
going also.
Treasures Report Not present
– we did make $ 464.25 from the musical
Membership – nothing to
report
Roadie Crew- needs small
water bottles for the parade

Publicity – no report
Web site – new form on the
website
Bake sale – bring baked good
to guidance
Applebee’s dining to donate –
is next week April 16th
Spring Tag Day – Get your
form in to Robin or Dawn, will be adding a 3-5 shift on Sat,
Will try to switch to

Spring Concert Concession-
Elizabeth is working on this- will need baked goods, will have flowers again
Clothing Drive – Sat May 17th
Super 50/50- will be rescheduled
for next year
End of the year dinner- June
3rd get your forms to Dawn or Merryl deadline is May 23rd
Balloons in June- Forms
available, need lots of volunteers, hopefully flyer will go out in PTA mailer
Nominating Committee for
2008/2009 – meeting never took place- we still have a position open –VP next
year we will need to train someone to take over the web site
By-Laws Committee- we will
work on proposed changes for next meeting
